Faliraki is undoubtedly one of the best destinations in Europe for nightlife – that’s if you like your nights out to be loud, wild and a little bit messy. Faliraki is all about having fun and partying hard and is not for the faint hearted. Unsurprisingly it is a popular destination for 18-30’s holidays and stag and hen weekends when groups of friends soak up the sun by day and party all night taking advantage of cheap booze and a huge amount of bars and clubs in a concentrated area.
For traditional Greek food you will need to travel out of Faliraki to find authentic Greek tavernas in quieter towns and villages. Faliraki is a purpose built resort that caters mainly for British tastes with British food on lots of restaurant menus as well as Chinese, Italian and Indian. There are plenty of fast food joints for hungry clubbers to grab a burger, chips or a kebab on their way back to their hotel.
Around 10pm partygoers flock to Bar Street to start their evening out. It is along this street that you will find the infamous ‘fish bowl cocktail’. Lots of organised bar crawls take place along this street stopping off at venues such as Ziggys, which sells infamous cocktails, Bunny’s Pub and Champer’s Bar for karaoke and Jamaica Bar, one of Faliraki’s oldest and most well known bars.
Club Street in Faliraki is where the party continues until the early hours of the morning. Faliraki has an unrivalled reputation for being one of the top places in Europe for clubbing and it won’t disappoint. So when you’ve exhausted Bar Street head to Liquid for dance music and top 40 hits or try Bed Rock, a karaoke and cabaret bar with infamous insomnia parties on Saturday nights.
