Update 16 December 13:30 UK
Following the change to the Government’s advice on travel to and from Sharm el Sheikh in November, we suspended all flying between the UK and Sharm el Sheikh and won’t resume flights until the Government’s advice changes.
To help provide some certainty for passengers booked to fly to Sharm el Sheikh in early 2016, especially those with flights over the February half term period, we will be cancelling all flights to and from Sharm el Sheikh until 29 February 2016.
Customers on affected flights will have two options:
- Arrange a voucher for the value of the original flights that can be used towards flying to another destination within the easyJet network
- Receive a full refund of the flights booked with us
Customers in Sharm el Sheikh who wish to fly back to the UK are asked to contact our Customer Service team
For customers who would like to spend the February half term period away, there are a number of locations that still have good availability – such as the Canaries, Cyprus, Malta or Morocco for customers who are looking for sunshine. Otherwise, we fly to most of Europe’s top city locations. Accommodation can be easily booked with our partner Booking.com
To arrange a flight voucher, receive a refund or for any other queries, customers are advised to contact our Customer Services Team on +44 (0) 1617749879.
If flights haven’t been booked directly through easyJet.com, customers are asked to speak to the travel agency they have booked with for a refund of their flights.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this will cause, but we hope that being clear with all our customers at this point will provide more time and choice to make alternative arrangements. The situation is beyond our control and passenger safety will always be our number one priority.
