Jersey Nightlife

After an action-packed day of sightseeing, you can enjoy an equally fun-filled night on the town.

Jersey has an eye-opening range of theatres, clubs and venues, where you can enjoy everything from live music to opera, comedy to drama, indie to symphony, plus a wide choice of films at the cinema.

The island also has a range of clubs and late-night bars in St Helier to suit most tastes and an events calendar packed full of music festivals, gigs and performances. Ones to look out for include the Folklore Festival (July) with an eclectic and imaginative bill of alternative live music, comedy, theatre, poetry and film.

Perhaps the coolest boutique music festival and biggest little indie rock festival in Europe, Jersey Live (August) has a line-up of top bands and artists that ensures locals and visitors keep on returning. The festival is held in the beautiful, rural surroundings of the Royal Jersey Showground, attracting over 10,000 people.

Branchage Film Festival is a young, ambitious and imaginative film festival combining cutting-edge commissions and creative programming with all that’s charming about Jersey. It takes place in September, using complementary and unusual venues throughout the island.
