Café Chou
Don't just indulge in the classic caramel beurre sale (salted caramel butter), fève de tonka (tonka beans) or framboise-anis vert (raspberry aniseed) flavours at this patisserie: their puff pastry is also the base for savoury éclairs served with poivrons grillés et chèvre (roast peppers and goats cheese) or the Japanese-style salad with ponzu sauce.

Le Roi Ubu
Geneva's oldest bar, housed in a listed building of the Old Town, is the place to go for classic cocktails and extensive choice of craft beers. Off the tourist trail despite its obvious location, this minuscule watering hole is popular with students and locals alike and stays open until 1am.

Spread across three floors, the British designer's showroom, restaurant and lounge is an eclectic mix of vintage inspired handcrafted pieces and leather bound furniture, with decent cocktails to match.
