T de Triana
Join the locals at this no frills place which dishes up some excellent seafood based tapas, like a spicy gambas pil pil. If you're lucky you may catch an impromptu flamenco performance; it's that kind of place.

Address: Calle Betis 20, Seville | Telephone: 954 33 12 03 |

This attractive contemporary space with its low lighting and high tables is known for its nouveau style innovative tapas which look pretty as a picture and include combinations like mushrooms stuffed with manchego cheese and red peppers.

Address: Plaza de San Francisco 5, Seville | Telephone: 954 22 97 84 |

Housed in an artfully restored 18th century house, this bar is a local favourite (it's a little hard to find - persevere). Tapas and dishes here are innovative without being pretentious and run the gambit from a creamy risotto to mini burgers and imaginative salads (the latter not generally a strength in this town).

Address: Galeria 5, Seville | Telephone: 954 22 04 81 |

Taberna Los Terceros
This earthy little tapas bar attracts a spirited young crowd who head here for the tasty, traditional tapas, including the house speciality: caracoles (snails), best washed down with a glass of the robust house red.
