Cheap flights to La Coruña
La Coruña, is located in the north-west of the province on the Gulf of Ártabro. It’s spread out on its own peninsula facing the Atlantic and has beautiful wide beaches.
The town has grown up around a natural harbour along the Avenida de la Marina, from where the splendid white balconies covered in with glass that give the town its nickname of “Crystal City” can be best admired.
On a summer’s evening the bars in the area around the Rúa Franja and the Praza María Pita keep going all night, and the visitors all go down to the harbour in the morning to watch the day’s catch being brought in and auctioned off by the town’s fishermen.
Shopping
June 2012
Located at the edge of the underground-ish district of Montealto, Nicetrip has made itself a reputation as a very specialiSed shop: basically selling T-shirts and that's about it, but with coloured, pop designs, usually based on Galician stereotypes. The place is the brainchild of Antón Lezcano, who helped start up a trend of fashionable T-shirt design that became popular in Galicia a few years ago. And they have a section for babies too (29 Curros EnrÃquez, nicetripgalicia.com).

You probably want to go back with a tan, so try one of the amazing beaches in town: Riazor-Orzán offers plenty of space for walking and Matadero has a younger atmosphere. Try Las Lapas for a less crowded swim.
