Lille Airport is only 15 minutes from the city centre and has excellent rail and shuttle bus links between the two. The airport is located in a network of motorways including: the A1 Paris-Lille, the A25 Dunkirk-Lille, the A23 Valenciennes-Lille and the A22 Gand-Lille. The airport is also in close proximity to the towns of Nord-Pas-de-Calais and neighbouring Belgium.

The airport provides an excellent service and focuses on keeping transfer and waiting times to a minimum. It also provides easy access with car parks having direct access to the terminal, with one located in the terminal.

There is also an express check in service and the airport is ranked 4th out of 15 airports in France for its punctuality. Additionally there is are shops and a restaurant and bar in the terminal and Wi-Fi hotspots all over the airport including its waiting areas, business centre and boarding lounges.
