The airport is located approximtely 18km northeast of Sharm el Sheikh, near Ras Nasrani.

All easyJet flights arrive and depart from Terminal 1.

Important information for passengers

Please note that all passengers must be able to present a printed flight booking confirmation to be accepted into the terminal building and the check-in area as a result of local security regulations. Passengers who are not able to show a print-out of a valid flight booking will not be allowed to enter the terminal building.

Check-in opens 3 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight and closes 60 minute before.

By car
The airport is situated just off a major road which follows the coast directly into Sharm El Sheikh. Journey time is around 20 minutes.

By coach
A minibus service travels to Sharm el Sheikh. Minibuses only leave when they are at full capacity. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.

There are no public bus services from the airport.

By taxi
The taxi rank is located outside the arrivals area. There are regular taxis and tourist taxis which operate from the airport. The tourist taxis often charge double fares and passengers may be required to bargain with the drivers before departure as the driver may assume tourists are unaware of the correct taxi rate, which should be around 40 Egyptian pounds to the city centre.
