Hurghada International Airport is located inland approximately 5 miles southwest of the town of Hurghada.

Important information for passengers

Please note that all passengers must be able to present a printed flight booking confirmation to be accepted into the terminal building and the check-in area as a result of local security regulations. Passengers who are not able to show a print-out of a valid flight booking will not be allowed to enter the terminal building.

Check-in opens 3 hours before the scheduled departure of your flight and closes 60 minutes before.

By car
The airport is located just off the ring road. To travel to the city get the centre, head north from the airport before bearing right and heading towards the coast as the Ring Road forks. Journey time is approximately 20 minutes.

By coach
A mini bus service operates between the airport and Hurghada city centre. They are not operating to a time table but depart whenever the bus is full.

There is no public bus service from Hurghada Airport.
