Cheap flights to Leeds-Bradford

Leeds-Bradford
If you’re looking for a long or short break to Leeds-Bradford, then book a cheap flight with easyJet. Be prepared to expect two exciting cities boasting top tourist attractions, quality sporting venues, great places to shop, and a nightlife to suit all.

Leeds
Only a short train or bus journey from Leeds-Bradford Airport and you can be in the centre of Leeds. Visit one of the historic highlights which include the Victorian Quarter (a grade II listed building housing high end fashion brands), Leeds Corn Exchange (creative and innovative retail stores inside the traditional building) or Harewood House (an 18th Century house for a spot of culture).

Leeds has an abundance of cultural activities for you to experience during your trip. The Leeds City Museum, opened in 2008, is situated in Millennium Square, and has a fantastic collection of interactive displays, games and exhibitions. Or enjoy some great British 20th Century art at the Leeds Art Gallery.

Shop shop shop whilst you visit the city! Pedestrianised zones house nearly five miles of shopping streets for those of you that like to browse, or choose one of the many indoor shopping centres – Merrion Centre, Leeds Shopping Plaza, St. John’s Centre, Headrow Centre, Victoria Quarter, The Light and the Corn Exchange.

If sport is your thing then be sure to make a trip to the world-famous stadiums found in the city. Headingley Stadium (cricket and rugby) is situated just north of the city centre, whilst Elland Road (football) can be found just south.

Visit during the colder months to experience the Hamburg Christmas Market which visits the city in December, or come in January to experience the outdoor ice rink in Millennium square.

If you are visiting Leeds during the summer months be sure to take advantage of the Leeds Festival. Held annually in Branham Park, you can see some of the biggest names in rock and indie music performing.

Leeds nightlife is a must! Whether you are looking for a classic meal or are up for a bit of dancing there is something for everyone. The newly developed Clarence Docks offers waterside dining, or head to Speedqueen the infamous home of club nights which can be found on Briggate in the south of the city.

Bradford
The smaller city of Bradford is by no means any less interesting. Visit the National Media Museum, a free museum with exhibitions in film, photography, television and the web. Or why not head to the Art gallery at Cartwright Hall which offers exciting contemporary exhibitions with art from the 19th and 20th Century.

The City Hall is steeped in history and is worth a visit. Statues range from Norman Conquest through to Queen Victoria. And if you are still feeling cultural grab a show at the intimate St. George’s Hall theatre. Choose from an orchestral concert, contemporary dance, lively musical or comedy.

Enjoy the outdoors with a trip to Lister Park. Bradford’s largest park, situated in the Manningham area of the city, it is perfect for a boat trip on the lake, an afternoon of tennis or a wander around the water gardens.

Further afield
Leeds-Bradford Airport is also ideally situated for a number of well known tourist attractions, beauty spots, and UK holiday destinations.

The Yorkshire Dales are just a short hop north of Leeds-Bradford and so a trip to the Yorkshire Dales National Park is a must. At only 20 miles away you can be sure to see some of the country’s most inspiring landscapes.

Head west and you are in the atmospheric Moorlands. Most famously known for their connection with the Brontë sisters, the moors north of Haworth (where the sisters lived) are the perfect escape from the city.
