Terms and Conditions: Lowest Price Guarantee – Or We’ll refund Double the Difference1

If you book a flight on www.easyJet.com between 20 – 27 June 2007 to fly between 1 July – 22 August 2007 and you find a cheaper fare with another airline than the fare paid to easyJet for the same journey (same route, in and out of the same airports), then easyJet will pay you “double the difference” between the air fare paid to easyJet and the lower fare quoted online by a competitor airline. This offer is subject to the following terms:

1.Claims can only be made for flights to the same airport and city e.g. flights to Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa will not be treated as direct comparators.

2.Claims can only be made for competitor flights which are due to depart within an hour of the departure time of the booked easyJet flights.

3.Claims must be submitted to easyJet via the online form at www.easyJet.com within 1 hour of making your easyJet booking. Any claims received later than 1 hour from booking time will not be accepted.

4.Claims must include your easyJet booking reference number and a screen shot of the competitor’s offered fare (including all mandatory taxes, fees and charges) with your claim.

5.The comparative flight prices must both include all taxes and charges but not enhancements such as baggage charges, credit card charges, speedy boarding charges etc.

6.This offer is only available on flights booked on www.easyJet.com between 00:01am on Wednesday 20 June 2007 and 23.59 on Wednesday 27 June 2007, for flights departing between 00.01 am 1 July 2007 and 23.59pm 22 August 2007. All times stated are British Summer Time.

7.Claims must be verified by easyJet. easyJet will verify the “competitor fare” within 24 hours of receipt (only during office hours: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday). If the ‘competitor fare’ cannot be verified on the internet the claim will be invalid.

8.You will be notified by email within 24 hours (Monday to Friday) of the acceptance or rejection of your claim after it has been verified by easyJet. Where a claim is valid and successful, the relevant “double the difference*” sum will be processed within 7 working days by cheque made out the payer in the UK and, for customers from other countries, to the credit/debit card number provided at the time of booking.

9.You agree that easyJet’s decision in relation to all claims will be final and binding.

10.Claims not submitted in accordance with the rules or incomplete will not be accepted. easyJet accepts no responsibility if claims are late or lost, due to any problem, technical or otherwise connected with their email or web connection. Proof of transmission is not proof of receipt.

1In the case of successful claims made in accordance with these rules, easyJet will pay the passenger double the difference between an alternative lower fare and the fare paid to easyJet for same journey (see above). Each claim will be subject to a maximum cap of €100 (or local currency equivalent). Where the difference between easyJet’s fare and the cheaper alternative fare is more than €100 (or local currency equivalent), the maximum amount payable by easyJet will be capped at €100 (or local currency equivalent).
