Dresden Airport Guide

Dresden
Dresden Airport has its own dedicated motorway exit on the A4 motorway. From there it takes just a few minutes to reach the Dresden Airport Terminal. The airport is located approximately 9 kilometres from the city centre, and the journey time is around 20 minutes.

All passengers travelling to/from Germany must ensure their Passport is signed to avoid unnecessary delays at the Border Control on arrival or departure from German territory.

By train

Double Decker trains run every 30 minutes to the city centre from the underground station located on the lower level of the terminal building.
A single ticket to the city centre costs €1.90 (valid on S-Bahn, tram and bus). Tickets can be bought from the ticket machine at the station and from the airport information desk on the Arrivals level in the terminal.

By bus

The bus stops are located directly outside the terminal building.
A single ticket to the city centre costs €1.90 (valid on S-Bahn, tram and bus). Tickets can be bought from the ticket machine at the station and from the airport information desk on the Arrivals level in the terminal.

By taxi

A taxi rank can be found outside the terminal building.
