Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Check-in: In the terminal on the main concourse.

Due to changes in UK security measures we strongly recommend that you arrive at the airport 2 hours before your departure to ensure you have sufficient time to get to your boarding gate.

By road

Situated 7 miles south east of Liverpool city centre and just 5 minutes from the nearby motorway network,Liverpool John Lennon Airport is well signposted from the M6, M62, M56 and M57 motorways.

From the North/North East: M6 southbound to junction 21A with M62. Follow M62 west to junction 6 onto the A5300 to the A561 and follow signs to airport, situated off Speke Hall Avenue.

From the South/East: M6 northbound to junction 20 with M56. Follow M56 to junction 12 onto A557/A562 dual carriageway via Runcorn Bridge to merge with A561. Follow signs to airport, situated off Speke Hall Avenue.

From the Wirral and North Wales: In the rush hour use the M53 and then the M56 (as instructions from the South/East) rather than through the city centre. If you're travelling from North Wales join the A55/A550 to connect with the M56 eastbound, then follow instructions as from the east.

Main car parks are NCP and situated adjacent to the Terminal Building. There is a pay and display facility for pick-up and set-down.

By taxi

Pre book your door-to-door airport transfers with easyJet’s partner Holiday Taxis. We cater for the Business and Leisure Traveller.

A taxi rank is located directly outside the entrance to the airport terminal. The journey into the city centre is 7 miles and takes approximately 20 minutes.

By rail and bus

Liverpool South Parkway - Liverpool John Lennon Airport (Bus Link)

Liverpool South Parkway is a new bus and rail interchange in Garston.
80A Arriva bus leaves Liverpool South Parkway for Liverpool John Lennon Airport every 7 to 8 minutes during the day and every 30 minutes during the evening.

86A Arriva bus leaves every 5 minutes Mondays to Saturdays during the day, and every 10 minutes in the evenings and on Sundays.

N86 Arriva bus leaves every 30 minutes between midnight and 5am, Monday to Sunday.

By bus

Airlink 500 : to Liverpool city centre

City centre stops include Norton St Coach Station (for National Express connections) and Lime Street Station (for local, regional and mainline rail connections).

Operates every 30 minutes, Monday to Friday daytimes, and every half an hour during evenings and weekends.

Airlink 700 : to Manchester city centre

Stops include Burtonwood Services - Eccles Interchange - Salford Regent Street.

Journey time only 75 minutes. Operates every hour from early morning until late at night, departing Liverpool John Lennon Airport on the half hour.

By coach

Terravision Coach Service: to Shudehill Interchange Manchester via Sackville Street Manchester.

Coaches depart from Liverpool Airport outside Arrivals Hall, behind the Yellow Submarine
