Belfast Nightlife

Kelly's Cellars
No visit to Belfast would be complete without a trip to this fantastic pub. It's one of the oldest pubs in the city and is steeped in history. You might even be lucky enough to catch an Irish traditional music session.

The John Hewitt
As well as being one of the best bars in Ireland, never mind in Belfast, the John Hewitt is a great place to catch a live band. Depending on what night you visit you could hear anything from jazz to Irish traditional music. They also have a great selection of beers from around the world and their lunchtime food is top notch.

Bert's Bar
Bert's is Belfast's only dedicated jazz bar and it has live music every night of the week. The place is quite swish and has the feel of a 1930's New York jazz club. You can just call in and have a drink at the bar or eat at one of the tables near the stage.

Lavery's
This legendary bar is pretty unassuming from the outside but once inside it's a different matter. There are several bars over three floors and the place is buzzing most nights. Don't miss the Back Bar.
