San Javier Airport is located 47 km from Murcia, and can be reached via the Murcia-San Javier dual carriageway in approximately 25 minutes.

A special coach service, latbus number 73, operates between San Javier Airport and the bus station in Murcia. Departure times from the airport to Murcia: 17.45, 19.15, and 22.45. Departure times from Murcia to San Javier Airport: 13.00, 15.15 (Mondays, Fridays and Sundays) and and 17.30. This journey costs approximately 7 EUR.
