Most visitors travelling to Russia will need to obtain a Visa prior to departure.
The process can take up to several weeks. The lead time for visas can vary depending on your nationality and the purpose of your trip. Please make sure to check with the relevant Russian authorities well in advance, or click here for more information on visa requirements.
Russian Visas are issued with specific start and end dates. Travel MUST be completed within those dates. Completed Visas cannot be changed or extended once issued.
IMPORTANT: you will not be allowed to fly if you are not in possession of all the necessary documentation.

By bus:
- Express Buses: Express Buses run a regular service non-stop from Domodedovo airport from Domodedovskaya underground station. Journey time is around
25-30 minutes.
- Ryazan - Domodedovo airport: Buses operate with stops on route in Lukhovitsy and Kolomna. Journey time is around 3 hours 30 minutes.
- Mini Bus Shuttle: Mini busses operate a regular service from Domodedovskaya underground station to the airport. Journey time is around 25-30 minutes.

By train:
- Aeroexpress train: The Aeroexpress train is a comfortable high-speed train that goes non-stop from Moscow, Paveletsky station, to Domodedovo airport and from the airport to Moscow, Paveletsky station. Journey time is around 40-50 minutes.
- Commuter train: The commuter train operates from Moscow, Paveletsky station to Domodedovo airport and from the airport to Moscow, Paveletsky station, with all stops en route. Journey time is around 1 hour 10 minutes.
