Boultek, a hub for local musicians, is run by the Boulevard team, which is responsible for assisting Casablanca's generation of musical creatives. In the diminutive Salle 36 you'll be able to meet and sample the city's musicians, from rockers to jazzers to rappers. Check out the schedule and discover! boulevard.ma

Summer in the city can only be spent strolling along the Corniche in Ain Diab. Beaches, swimming pools and seaside restaurants by day, nightlife for all tastes and ages after dark.

It's here! The all-new Tramway is a fantastic solution to the constant jams that have characterised the city for too long. Buy your ticket at the station (a reasonable 70 cents) and hop aboard. The tram runs over 30kms from the run-down outer reaches to the hectic centre and Atlantic promenade. It's clean, safe, slick, and is, so far, doing Casablanca proud. casatramway.ma

Antique treasure trove meets crazy junk yard, Souk Al Mina in Hay Hassani is a bijou area lodged in the dizzy bustle of the Hay Hassani quarter. Art deco throwaways from the 1930s abound, from standard lamps to giant kitchen scales. Dig and haggle to your heart's content.
