Venice Marco Polo Airport Guide

Marco Polo Airport is 13km from Venice city centre.

By car
Park at the Tronchetto and take a waterbus into the main town; journey time 30 mins.

By taxi:

Watertaxi. From Airport to San Marco leaves from quay; journey time 40 mins; cost EUR 70. You may also be charged extras depending on luggage, time of day that you travel and number of people in the party.

By bus:
There are two buses from Marco Polo Airport to Piazzale Roma, the Blue Bus (30 mins - cost EUR 2.50 - purchase ticket from driver) or the No 5 (50 mins - cost EUR 0.80 - ticket from terminal newsagent). Buses leave from outside the airport terminal. Always validate your ticket by punching it in the machines provided.

Waterbus. From Airport to San Marco, quay 1 every hour - buy ticket from booth left of customs at the airport; journey time 60 mins; cost EUR 8.

By train
Although there is not a train station at the airport, the local railway stations (Santa Lucia and Mestre) are linked to the airport by a scheduled bus services. For more information please visit www.actv.it.
