Airport information

By road:

East Midlands airport is located just a few minutes drive from Junctions 23A and 24 of the M1. Leicester, Nottingham and Derby are all within 30 minutes drive. Coventry, Sheffield, Stoke-on-Trent and Birmingham are all within 60 minutes drive time.

By bus:
Bus services operate throughout the day and night, seven days a week, with fares from £5 return.

Nottingham Skylink
This bus will take you from the airport to Nottingham city centre and the railway station. The service runs every 30 minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Leicester Skylink
This bus operates hourly , 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and will get you to Leicester in under an hour.

Derby Skylink
This service operates from the airport to Derby 24 hours a day, with stops in the city centre and Derby railway station. Buses run every 30 minutes during the day and every hour during the night.

Loughborough Skylink
This bus connects the airport with Loughborough town centre and railway station every 30 minutes (every hour during the night).

Long Eaton - Indigo (previously Rainbow 5)
This service operates hourly from the airport to Long Eaton, Sawley and Kegworth.

Coalville - Airlink 155
An hourly service connects the airport with Coalville, 7 days a week.

By coach
National Express operates a daily service six times a day to Chesterfield, Sheffield, Wakefield, Leeds, Bradford and also Coventry, Warwick, Heathrow Airport and London Gatwick Airport.

By rail:
Passengers travelling to the north of the country should take the Derby Skylink to Derby train station. Passengers travelling to the south of the country should take the Loughborough Skylink to Loughborough train station.

East Midlands Parkway station, which can be reached using the Railink bus service from the airport, also provides links for onward travel.
