Bilbao

To find the heart of Basque culture in Bilbao, look out for the Kafe Antzokia, nestling inside a refurbished theatre in the Plaza San Vicente. This is the Basque Cultural Centre, where all ages learn about their ancient language.

Don't miss the Funicular de Artxanda, Pza Funicular, off c/Castaños where a magnificent old cable car struggles up the hill to the vantage point of Artxanda every 15 minutes.

The famous Guggenheim Museum is one of the most extraordinary and graceful buildings you could ever look at, or out from; built on the site of a disused shipyard, this has become the first stop in most people's tour of the city (closed Monday).

Airport information

easyJet flies into Aeropuerto de Bilbao.

By taxi

Pre book your door-to-door airport transfers with easyJet’s partner Holiday Taxis. We cater for the Business and Leisure Traveller.

There is also a taxi rank outside the main arrivals hall. A journey to the city centre costs approximately 20€.

By bus

The airport bus leaves for the city centre every 20 minutes. The first bus leaves at 06.20am. Journey time takes approximately 45 minutes and costs 1.10€.
