Barcelona by road
The airport is approximately 12 km from the city centre, so if you're on a short break to Barcelona you won't spend too much time travelling to your accommodation in Barcelona or the surrounding areas. The route is well sign-posted as you leave the airport.
Barcelona by taxi
Taxis from the airport to Barcelona city centre take about 30 minutes dependent on traffic.

Barcelona by train
To catch the airport train into the city, just walk out and cross the long overhead bridge (with moving walkway) between Terminals A and B. Trains run every half hour and the journey only takes 20 minutes. Half the price of the bus, just EUR 1.70.
Barcelona by bus
There is a shuttle bus service which stops outside each terminal and goes to central Plaça Catalunya every 15 minutes. The "Aerobus" is the most comfortable and easy way to travel between the city centre and the airport. A single ticket costs EUR 3.20.
