Bristol runway disruption - Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January

Following concerns over the reliability of the newly resurfaced runway in wet weather conditions at Bristol International Airport, easyJet regrets to announce there will be some disruption to its Bristol operations over the weekend.

A number of flights on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January will operate in and out of Cardiff International Airport, whilst some services will have to be cancelled. The safety of our passengers, crew and aircraft is the top priority at easyJet and these decisions have been taken following extensive discussions with Bristol International Airport and the UK Civil Aviation Authority.

On Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 January all easyJet services into and out of Bristol have been cancelled, with the exception of the following flights which will operate:

Passengers travelling on the above services are required to check in at Bristol International Airport as normal and will be transferred across to Cardiff. It is not possible to check in at Cardiff. Passengers travelling on inbound flights will land in Cardiff and will be transfered back to Bristol.

Customers whose flights have been cancelled are entitled to a refund of the fare paid or a free transfer onto another easyJet flight within the next month. Alternatively passengers can choose to travel to or from an alternative UK airport.

To claim a refund or a transfer to another easyJet airport in the UK, customers should call easyJet customer services on 0871 244 2366.

To make a transfer to an alternative easyJet Bristol service at a later date, customers should log on to My easyJet.com to make the changes via the confirmation of the relevant booking.

Updated information regarding flights to and from Bristol International will be posted here on easyJet.com as soon as the information is available, and passengers are advised to check before setting out to the airport.
