Our pilot recruitment needs for 2007 and early 2008 have now been met. We are still running regular pilot assessments to enter our holding pool. We anticipate that spaces on training courses will be available from late 2008 and into 2009.
We would be delighted to receive applications as these will be held against assessment activity later in the year. If your application matches our entry requirements, (including those around our specific fleet and base needs), we will contact you about the timing of this activity but we are currently anticipating a timeframe of several months between receipt of your application and assessment invitation.
Thank you for your continued interest in easyJet Pilot careers and we hope to see you later this year!
Latest update for pilots in the Holding Pool
We have started to allocate courses from spring 2008 based on date of entry into the holding pool and courses will continue to be allocated following this based on crew requirement. We had hoped to be able to offer courses and bases simultaneously, however in line with easyJet’s current basing policy, courses will be offered and then bases will be advised four weeks prior to start date.
We view our people as our Number One asset and they are fundamental to our success. We take recruitment very seriously and we require the highest professional standards alongside a complimentary cultural fit. Core to the easyJet culture is our significant investment in our pilots' training and career development. This is the reason why 'it isn't easy to get into easyJet', but once you're working for us you will find that you will enjoy an extremely rewarding career with unrivalled opportunities.
