Our crew

Our crew are the face of our business, it is therefore vital that we select the right people to deliver the highest standard of customer service for all our passengers. Safety is our number one priority and our crew must possess the maturity to deal with any situation.

We search for people who are driven and keen to develop great sales skills in order to promote easyJet products onboard the aircraft, increasing their salary as a result! Part of the crew’s responsibility is also to ensure the aircraft is secure, clean and tidy for every flight so attention to detail and a willingness to get involved is essential. It is not a 9-5 environment and the hours are sometimes unsociable, but our cabin crew benefit from free time when many others don’t have it! Enthusiasm and energy are required at all times, even at the end of a tiring and physically demanding week.

That said, we work hard to ensure our crew love working for easyJet and embrace their work as a way of life. Minimum requirements

  • Age 18+
  • Height 5'2" (1.58m) to 6'3" (1.90m) with weight in proportion to height
  • Physically fit and able to pass a medical assessment
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written – you will be tested
    (if you are based in Europe you need to be fluent in the native language of the country and English)
  • Able to swim 25m and tread water for at least 1 minute
  • The right to live and work in the UK without restriction
    (applicants for Geneva and Basel require the right to work in Switzerland only)
  • A passport allowing you to travel freely within the EU without restriction
  • A minimum of 6 months face to face customer service experience
  • Comfortable in a selling role and able to deal with all passengers professionally
  • GCSE grade C+ (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • No visible tattoos or body piercing which cannot be covered discreetly
  • Able to arrive at your chosen base within 90 minutes (unaided by easyJet) and be prepared to make this journey every day, at any time of the day
  • A verifiable 5 year history
