Business as usual

Last updated 15 September 2006 08.30hrs

easyJet is now operating a full flying schedule again, following the recent disruptions as a result of the increased security measures put in place at UK airports.

The hand baggage restrictions currently in place at all UK airports are:

  • One piece of hand baggage only, with maximum dimensions: 45x35x16cm (including wheels, handles, straps etc). Musical instruments are not allowed in the aircraft cabin and must therefore be checked into the hold at all times.
  • No liquids of any type are permitted through the airport security search point. The definition of liquids is broad and includes toothpaste, hair gel, drinks, soups, syrups, perfume, deodorant, shaving foam, and aerosols.

easyJet check-in desks open two hours prior to the scheduled time of departure of your flight and close promptly 40 minutes prior.

To speed up the search and security process after check in, passengers are requested not to carry with them in their hand baggage containers that could possibly hold liquids, such as bottles, flasks, tubes, cans, plastic containers, etc.

Further information can be found at the Department for Transport website

Please view our Live Flight Arrivals Board for the latest, most up-to-date information on your flight.
